Jarrod Oxendine

Founder and Managing Partner

Jarrod grew up in Duluth, GA. He is a 2002 graduate of Mercer University and received his Law degree from Mercer Law School in 2005 located in Macon, GA.  He is dedicated to remaining in the area to provide professional legal services to the residents in and around his hometown. A highly motivated individual, Jarrod has worked hard to earn the trust and respect of judges, clients, and colleagues. As one of our seasoned and experienced family law attorneys, he is driven to give his all to every case, no matter how simple or complex. Jarrod is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and admitted to practice in all courts throughout the state, including the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. He is also a member of the Gwinnett County Bar Association. A family man, Jarrod is married with three children and actively participates in many charitable, civic, and political organizations throughout the community.

 Christine M. Palmer

Partner Attorney

Christine was born and raised in Alabama. She earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama then attended law school at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL. Christine has previously worked as in-house counsel for a real estate investment company and was the managing attorney of a law firm in Midtown Atlanta. Christine began working with Jarrod at their previous firm in 2012 and served as the firm’s Senior Associate Attorney. She is now a Partner at Oxendine Law, LLC practicing in all areas of domestic litigation, divorce, child custody, paternity and legitimation, and modification actions. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia Family Law Section and the Gwinnett County Bar Association Family Law Section.

Christine lives in Tucker, GA and is an active member of her local community. She is a life-long fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and remains a member of the Alabama Alumni Association. Christine and her Husband, David, take an annual trip to Maui every August and she is known for her love of the Hawaiian Islands and culture.

Ryan Post

Associate Attorney

Ryan was raised in Roswell, Georgia. He graduated from Berry College in Rome, Georgia in 2008, then attended law school at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated in 2012. After passing the Bar, Ryan worked for a law firm in Cumming, Georgia before joining Jarrod’s previous firm. Ryan then worked for a family law firm in Marietta, Georgia. He has now returned as an Associate Attorney at Oxendine Law, LLC. Ryan is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and Family law bar section. Ryan practices in all areas of domestic litigation, divorce, child custody, paternity and legitimation, contempt and modifications actions, and adoptions.

In his spare time, Ryan plays drums (has been a drummer for 19 years), attends concerts, and support the Atlanta Braves.

Dillon Mackel

Paralegal

Dillon is a Lawrenceville native who graduated from the Kennesaw State University in 2015. He is currently attending law school at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School with an expected graduation date of May 2020. Dillon began working with Jarrod & Christine at their previous firm in 2015 and has been a valuable member of Oxendine Law since its inception. He interacts regularly with all of our clients and always receives high praise for his professionalism and patience. Dillon is a Disney fanatic and annual passholder who frequently offers travel tips to our clients.

Paula Payne

Paralegal

Paula Payne is our lead paralegal. She has over 30 years’ experience in the legal field working as a paralegal. She has worked in many areas of law in her career and has been focused in her favorite area of practice, family law, for over ten years. Paula was born and raised in Western New York State but has lived in Georgia for most of her adult life. Paula joined the Oxendine Law team in early 2019 and has been a welcome addition. She is an asset to our clients and she frequently interacts with them directly throughout their case. Paula has four grandchildren that are her world, along with her horses. In her spare time Paula rides, trains and trades horses and enjoys passing the trade down to her grandchildren.
